Ball Jar and Candle

Today is Day 15 of the 30 in 30 daily paint challenge that I am participating in. 

I have been wanting to paint a ball jar for a long time so I decided to paint one with a candle today.  The candle was the biggest challenge!  It is always good to keep pushing, trying things that seem too hard.  That is why I love doing small paintings.  You can concentrate on just a couple of subjects/objects and give them your best!

It is painted with oils on a 6"x6"x1/4"  triple gessoed hardboard panel.   I painted the sides so it does not need to be framed.
